Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic, and Ilkay Silk, an multi-talented actor, director, producer, educator, playwright and Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father was British, as is her mother, a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Anna Silk remembers her mother watching work at play rehearsals. In her early years, Anna appeared in several commercials. Anna relocated to Toronto to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at an Los Angeles actors' workshop at the end of 2007, became her partner in the year 2009. Anna has just recently converted to Judaism and they got married in Fredericton. Bo and Lauren's relationship (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) has been featured on CNN's all-time favorite television couple list. The couple was also recognized by E! as the top couple on TV in 2013.
