Morgan Fairchild (born PatsyAnn McClenny Feb. 3 1950) is an iconic American actor. Her fame grew from late 1970s until the the early 1980s when she appeared on several television programs, which generally featured glamorous looks. Fairchild began her acting career in 1973-77 in CBS' Search for Tomorrow daytime soap as Jennifer Pace. In her first role as the actress playing Jenna Wade, she made her TV debut on CBS's soap opera daytime Dallas in 1978. Later she landed her first leading part on the NBC series Flamingo Road (1980), that earned her an Golden Globe Award as Best Actress for a Television Series - for that show. In 1984, she was a co-star in ABC's short-lived primetime soap Paper Dolls and then appeared as a character in Falcon Crest as attorney Jordan Roberts from 1985 until 1986. Fairchild is also an actor in theatre and has played in a variety of TV comedy shows, including Murphy Brown, for which she was awarded an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the best guest star in a Comedy Series. She serves as a board member of SAG-AFTRA.
